CLIPPINGS FROM A LIFE

Sydney Opera House
THE PROPOSAL
Seeing that many of my photos are turning up in strange places around the world, I have decided to "post" stuff up just to see what happens! Starting off with some zany captures from the past !
This was taken years ago in Darjeeling, India. Signs in India tended to be hand painted on the spot. Much more individuality is evident !

My opinion reached after decades of observation !

POLITICAL OBSERVATIONS  Some other stuff has just appeared that seems interesting: Examples of this can be found all over the place. More to come on this...

Very popular when I was young !

Tourist destination Iran in the seventies

THE FIFTIES
the desired "look" of the early sixties. VW, wood skis, Beartrap Bindings and soggy double leather ski boots. I wanted to be in on this !

THE SIXTIES

gotta recall some of this

THE SEVENTIES

THE EIGHTIES

Kovalam Beach in the eighties
THE NINETIES
THE NAUGHTIES
THE NEW CENTURY
Kovalam Beach in the present day
Sydney's Blue Mountains NSW

HISTORIC  STUFF
Sydney's Exhibition Building - demolished in the fifties
also ...
Berlin's Anhalter Bahnhof - must have also been a beautiful building before destruction in the 1960's  -together with Melbournes' awesome Coffee Palace (pulled down in the seventies to make way for another nondescript glass box)

TOPICAL OBSERVATIONS

SYDNEY TRAMS

Peters' Corner Randwick

Tram to the "Gap"

Marion Street Leichhardt
New Zealand had trams too (Christchurch in this case)

Sydney knows how to dispose of unwanted mass transport
